Building Blocks for Kids Richmond Collaborative is a place-based initiative focused on the Iron Triangle neighborhood of Richmond, California. Our mission is to support the healthy development and education of all children and self-sufficiency of all families living in Richmond’s Iron Triangle neighborhood (or the BBK Zone) by engaging the community.

The Collaborative is organized into working groups, in which representatives from member organizations work with residents and elected officials to develop and provide a cradle-to-college continuum of support for families in the Iron Triangle neighborhood in the following areas:

• Education
• Health and Wellness
• Early Childhood
• Community Engagement and Advocacy
• Digital Literacy and Access
