Richmond City Council Member Ellen RobertsonEllen Robertson is currently serving as the Richmond City Council member from the 6th District.
Biography
Outside of the Council, Robertson is involved in Community Development. She earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and an associate degree from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. She is also a Licensed Practical Nurse with certification from the Richmond Technical Center School of Nursing.
Career
Robertson was elected to the City Council in 2003 and re-elected in 2004 and 2006. She currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee and Vice Chair of the Land Use Committee and Housing and Transportation Committee. She also serves as a member on the Governmental Operations Committee and the Organizational Development Committee.
