Mission

RICHMOND SHAKESPEARE exists to create unique performances of theatre—using original or established works—and emphasizing the plays of William Shakespeare. Our aim is to impart an appreciation of the written word by ensuring that our performances are accessible to a diverse audience. To that end, Richmond Shakespeare is dedicated to providing curriculum support for schools, colleges, educators, and organizations.
