The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Grand Opening of the expanded and transformed museum will be May 1, 2010. Because of construction, all galleries are off view, and the VMFA Shop and Arts Café are closed.
Exhibits
Although the main galleries are currently closed, some of the space is used for exhibitions. See the VMFA website for a list of current and planned exhibitions.
Hours
The main exhibit halls are closed until May 1, 2010 due to renovation.
Pauley Center Gallery Hours
- Mon - Fri, 8:45 am - 4:30 pm;
- Sat, 9:15 am-4:30 pm
Studio School Gallery Hours
- Mon - Fri, 9 am - 5 pm
Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, New Year's Day (January 1), Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving Day (4th Thurs in November), Christmas Day (December 25).
