Le terrain est décrit ainsi : «…where the distillery was formerly and now used as cloth fulling mill […] with exclusive privilege of using all waters running through the said land […] together with the building erected on the said lot above described for a fulling mill and all the tools apparatus and implements for carrying on the said clothiers works […] ». Haskell reprend donc la manufacture de Kilborn pour y exercer son métier ; explicite dans l’acte.

      • Résumé : Vente d’une partie du lot no 1 du 9e rang du canton de Stanstead pour la somme de 1 350 « Spanish Milled dollars equal to the sum of [337] pounds [10] shillings » (acheté en 1822 par Haskell, voir acte no 48). Le terrain est décrit ainsi : «…where the distillery was formerly, and now used as cloth and fulling mill, with the ground on the South of sufficient extent, for tenter Bars, as they are now actually erected, for the use of said clothiers shop […] exclusive of privilege to the said Harris Way of taking and using all waters running through the said piece of ground sufficient for conducting and carrying on the cloth dressing trade […] the said Harris Way his heirs and assigns to be at one fifth part of the expense in building and keeping in repair all dams and canals above the said fulling mill, as also one half the expense of keeping in repair the Dam between the oil mill and fulling mill […] together with […] all and singular tools and apparatus for carrying on the said clothiers works ».
