Résumé : Vente d’une partie du lot no 1 du 9e rang du Canton de Stanstead : « …lying on the North side of a certain Bye road, leading from the Main road from Stanstead Plain to Rock Island to the place of residence of Stephen Foster Esquire, […] beginning at the South East corner of the tract of land which the said Albert Gilmore heretofore bargained to Willard Wood, under Promise of Sale, thence extending Easterly along the South side of the said bye road the distance of sixty feet exact measure, thence Northerly on a line dividing the land hereby sold from the remainder of said Vendor’s land and parallel with the Easterly line of said Willard Wood’s said piece of land, to the land which one John Partlow heretofore acquired from the said Vendor, thence along the South line of the said Willard Wood’s said piece of land, thence Southerly along the line last above mentioned to the place of beginning […] forming part of a larger tract of land which the said Vendor heretofore acquired from Carlos F. Haskell, and the same whereon the said purchaser, has recently erected a dwelling house and other buildings […] ». Le lot est vendu pour la somme de 250 dollars.
