Ancil Hoffman Park & Golf Course was named after County Supervisor Ancil Hoffman, the manager of world heavyweight boxing champion Max Baer.
How to Get There:
- Located on Tarshes Drive
- From U.S. Highway 50, take the Watt Avenue off-ramp
- Head north to Fair Oaks Blvd. and turn right
- Follow Fair Oaks Blvd. to Van Alstine and turn right
- Turn left onto California Ave., then right at the park entrance
