Business Loop Interstate 80 (A.k.a Business 80 or Capital City Freeway) is an alternate alignment of Interstate 80 that passes through core business districts in Sacramento, (the main interstate 80 alignment wraps across nothern parts of the Sacramento area, allowing travellers to bypass the more congested parts of Sacramento).   Key districts that Business 80 connects to are West Sacramento, Downtown, Land Park, Oak Park, East Sacramento, Del Paso Heights, and Arden-Arcade.  Business 80 also connects to Interstate 5, Highway 50, and the southern leg of Highway 99. 

To help differentiate Business 80 from Interstate 80, Caltrans began using the designation "Capital City irctc wallet Freeway" in the mid 90's, which now appears on signage near major interchanges.  The origninal "Business 80" designation is still used synonomously for the section however.
