Capital Public radio is a local public radio broadcaster that transmits two public radio frequencies: KXJZ (90.9 FM), a news and jazz station; and KXPR (88.9), a classical station.

As of 2012, they began broadcasting their main weeknight jazz program on the music station and more news and talk program on 90.9.

Capital Public Radio operates out of Sacramento State.
