The new downtown Sacramento City Hall Complex, consists of the remodeled historic City Hall, the newly constructed administration building and customer service center and a plaza which adjoines the two buildings. The plaza is named Sa' Cumn'e, or 'Big House' as a dedication to the Miwok tribe, whose artifiacts were discovered during construction under the grounds of the complex.
