Hospice care is a coordinated effort provided to the patient and the family by a professional team of doctors, nurses, social workers, clergy, and hospice volunteers. First Call Hospice offers support so that patients are allowed to remain in familiar, comfortable and appropriate surroundings. First Call volunteers serve by offering companionship to patients and respite to families.
