Fremont Park Phase One was completed in July 1999 and included a new adventure playground, central seating area, individual picnic tables, a drinking fountain, walkways, and renovation of the restroom. Fourteen historic-looking lights were added in Summer 2000. Phase II was completed during 2001 and included additional walkways, benches, and accessible small group picnic area.
