With its large diversity of people and cultures, the Sacramento area has many language schools and programs.  The majority are private institutions and are not officially accredited, but are designed to both teach foreign languages and establish communities with similar interests and values.

Many of our local schools offer foreign language courses, especially Sac State and the Los Rios Community College District.
