Each hair color is hand selected and customized for each individual client. Laurie B. does not conform to using one particular color line, instead preferring the freedom to choose what is best for each person. "Not every client can use one line specifically, every person has specific needs and I like to cater to that need." Says Laurie B. "There are so many fabulous colors to choose from these days, it would be foolish to adhere to one line specifically."

Laurie B. Hair Designs was created in 1998 by Laurie B. It had been a long term dream to create custom and artistic looks for people; to personify individual style. From the funkiest of colors to the ultra conservative, each look is a part of that dream.
I am a third generation Cosmetologist, graduating from Sacramento City College Cosmetology and earned my license in 1997. I soon went to work for one of the most successful franchise salon chains in the United States. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn the business and see exactly why they were so successful. I later worked for three award winning salons in the Sacramento area before finally deciding to branch out on my own. It has been a wonderful experience working with so many talented and successful people. In 2008 I was honored to have a hairstyle (cut, color and style) walk the Red Carpet at the 2008 Emmy Awards!! It was a wonderful experience!
