Since 1956 the Legal Services of Northern California has provided quality legal services that empower the poor to identify and defeat the causes and effects of poverty. They envision a community where everyone has enough to eat, where every family has a safe place to live, and where health care is available to all.

Locations

Legal Services of Northern California serves 23 counties in the Northern California area. There are nine office locations in Sacramento, Auburn, Chico, Eureka, Grass Valley, Redding, Ukiah, Vallejo and Woodland.

Special Programs

The LSNC also has special programs such as: Senior Legal Services Programs, Senior Legal Hotline, Health rights Hotline, Tommy Clinkenbeard Legal Clinic (serving the homeless in Sacramento), Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP), Ombudsman Services of Northern California (OSNC), and Voluntary Legal Services Program (VLSP).
