Sacramento, CA – New Helvetia Theatre proudly presents NEXT TO NORMAL, music by Tom Kitt and with book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey, directed by NHT’s new Associate Producer Matthew Schneider, featuring Melinda Parrett and Michael Hunsaker. NEXT TO NORMAL runs from Friday, October 5th, 2012 to Saturday, October 27th, 2012 in a limited four-week engagement at the Studio Theatre, located at 1028 R Street between 10th and R in Sacramento. Post-show talkbacks will follow select performances.

 

Performances are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8pm and select Saturday matinees at 2pm; a full show schedule is available at newhelvetia.org.  A special question-and-answer talk-back will be held immediately after the 2pm matinee on October 20th.  All other performances are $30 for adults and $20 for students, and can be purchased online at newhelvetia.org or by calling 916-469-9850. NEXT TO NORMAL features Melinda Parrett (the 39 Steps and Rx at B Street, [title of show] at NHT) as Diana Goodman and Michael Hunsaker  (National Tour: Ragtime, Marius in Les Miz and Radames in Aida at Music Circus) as Dan Goodman, with Garrett Bruce (Gabriel Goodman), Casey Canino (Natalie Goodman), Matthew Provencal (Henry), and Mike Yee (Dr. Fine/Dr. Madden).
