The Sacramento Northern Bikeway is an urban bike route that connects Downtown, Del Paso Heights, and Rio Linda.

The route can be accessed from Downtown at C street between 19th and 20th Streets, (near the Blue Diamond plant).  From there it crosses the American River and connects to the American River Parkway.  From there the path heads north into Del Paso Heights, paralleling Altos Avenue to Redding Park.  From Redding Park it parallels Rio Linda Boulavard into Rio Linda.
