Connects to Pocket Canal Parkway and Sacramento River Parkway on El Camino. Next to the School of Engineering and Science Wenzel Elementary School. Shasta Community Park is a 21.2-acre community park which includes the 20,000 S.F. Valley Hi/North Laguna Library. Shasta Community Park opened in spring 2009, and the library opened August 29, 2009. Phase 2 of Shasta Community Park and Shasta Avenue street improvements is now under construction and will be complete in spring 2010.
