Located in Midtown, right next to Pronto, Uncle Vito's is a cozy little bar and pizzeria. The walls are plastered with pictures and icons of New York City. There's seating at the bar, and probably 8 or so high tables with stools, and some booth benches. The employees are friendly and talkative, the crowd is always diverse. There's a pretty old Galaga (classic arcade game) up against one wall (25cents per play).
They serve great, big slices of New York style pizza by the slice, $3 for cheese, .50 extra per topping. It's a popular local haunt, and well-known for their happy hour (4 to 6 pm), which is a slice of pizza and a pint of beer for $5, a great deal. They have ten beers on tap, and a decent variety of hard alcohol and liquor. Open pretty late, they do not deliver. They do accept credit cards, but only with a minimum purchase of $10 dollars.
Alcohol
Beers on tap include Newcastle, Fat Tire, Coors Light, and Skinny Dip.
Beer is served in extremely frosty mugs.
Sometimes they have monthly specials. Every Sunday in August, one could have enjoyed a pint of New Belgium's Skinny Dip for $2.50.
