Founded in 1895, the Sacramento Metro Chamber is the largest, oldest and most prominent voice of business in the six-county Sacramento region.

Representing nearly 2,200 member businesses and business organizations in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba counties, the Metro Chamber, as the only chamber of commerce with a regional scope, has for 115 years served as the region’s leading proponent of regional cooperation and primary advocate on issues affecting business, economic development and quality of life.

Our job is to make sure the region's business needs are top-of-mind among community leaders and government officials. Today, progress continues on improving air quality and transportation infrastructure, increasing the region's level of flood protection, and developing programs that nurture a broad and capable workforce.
