There are many paths connecting Santa Fe internally and to other places externally. The oldest would have originally been used by people riding horses, burrows, or carriages/wagons pulled by them; now they are mostly navigated by cars, buses, and bicycles, and where attendant sidewalks exist, pedestrians.

The following is an incomplete list of roads within or crossing city limits:

  • Cerrillos Road
  • Saint Francis Drive
  • Saint Michael's Drive
  • Interstate 25 (referred to as the CanAm Highway for a section near Santa Fe)
  • Airport Road
  • West Alameda Street
  • Siler Road
  • Rufina Street
  • Paseo de Peralta
  • Old Santa Fe Trail
  • Old Pecos Trail
