This page has been set up as a resource for new users involved with the Bio Regional Directory to provide a place to ask questions about editing the Santa Cruz Wiki, for people to propose ideas, for other editors to comment, etc. (the name of this page can be changed at any time) There is also a Santa Cruz Wiki Facebook Group that can be used for discussion. A good way to learn about editing the Santa Cruz Wiki is to check the Activity page (a tab is also located at the top of every page in the wiki) which shows the most recent edits made.
One issue is that people are creating pages that already exist on the wiki. This is the case for the following pages: California Rural Legal Assistance Inc., Café Brasil, 3.10 River Cafe, and Well Within. Those pages
already exist on the wiki with a slightly different title, and now the pages need to be merged and redirects created.
People can check if a page already exists on the wiki by going here:
https://localwiki.org/santacruz/_explore/list
Another way to search for pages on the wiki is by entering any part of the title in the search box, which is located in the upper left corner of the wiki page.

Editors are having issues with the titles of the Bio Regional Directory pages. This is one comment left about one of the chapter titles: "this page needs better title..not sure what's going on here, but can instructor go over page naming guidelines?"
Maybe all of the pages should begin with "Bio Regional Directory" in their titles so that they appear together in the Wiki's complete list of pages?
Also, pages with "Santa Cruz" unnecessarily in the title should be avoided. It is assumed that the pages in the Santa Cruz Wiki are about Santa Cruz.
