Cayuga Street starts at Hiawatha Street and goes north, ending at Soquel Avenue . Total distance is about three-quarters of a mile. While no record has been found to explain how the street got the name, "Cayuga" is the name of an American Indian tribe within the state of New York.


No bike lanes, mostly level, light traffic. Area is residential.

Bus lines cross Cayuga Street at Soquel Avenue and also at Broadway.


The corner of Cayuga Street and Soquel Avenue is a Former Bank Building that was built in 1923. It was later used as a business called Cayuga Vault
