Summary Cliff Hodges, is a Santa Cruz native, outdoor and environmental advocate, and entrepreneur. Cliff is the owner of "Adventure Out" and "CrossFit West" and is an active member of the service community in Santa Cruz holding board positions at the Portola Castle Rock Foundation, Santa Cruz Next, and Your Future is Our Business.

Biography Hodges was born Nov 3, 1979 at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz. After graduating from Santa Cruz High School, he attended MIT (Massachussetts Institute of Technology) where we received Bachelors and Masters degrees in Engineering. Upon returning to Santa Cruz in his mid 20s, Hodges founded Adventure Out - an outdoor school and guide service grounded in the mission statement of "Cultivating Environmental Stewardship through Outdoor Adventure Out". He is also co-owner of CrossFit West - Santa Cruz's largest CrossFit fitness facility, and highly involved in the service community in Santa Cruz as a member of Santa Cruz Rotary and a board member of several local non-profits.

Achievements -2011 Santa Cruz Next "Nextie" Honoree -Adventure Out - named one of the world's top budget guide services by Travel & Leisure Magazine (2010) -Starred in MTV's hit TV show MADE as a expert wilderness survival instructor.
