Downtown Seniors is the name given to the various senior services as well as the senior center located at Louden Nelson Community Center. Welcome are people ages 60-over for lunch, and 55-over for the other services. Downtown Seniors offers exercise classes, creative writing, a cribbage club, special events including trips, line dancing, massages by Twin Lakes College, gentle yoga, t'ai chi and Chikung, Qi gong. and a book club. Lunch at the "Carnation Cafe" is Monday-Friday at noon for seniors 60 and over. Community Bridges runs the senior dining center Monday to Friday at noon.
Also located at Downtown Seniors is the Senior Computer Center of Santa Cruz.
