Duane (born in 1938 in Fresno, Ca.) and Annie (born in 1946 in Eureka, Ca.) Armstrong have been married since 1982, and share a studio together as artists in Boulder Creek.
Duane has painted over 7000 paintings during his career, 185 of which are in print. By the time he met Annie he was a well known artist; in the 1970s he was in the top 5 for print sales in the United States.
