Description of Work
Previously a member of River Street Studios, she is now a founding member of 17th Avenue Studios. in 2007 she became a member artist/resident of the Tannery Art Center.
She considers herself to be a theologian/poet/painter, using texture and text to speak about the nature of survival, seeking, changing and knowing. She says her paintings are and about prayer and meditation. She paints with encaustic paints, ie: molten beeswax.
