Gina Rene made it to the top 50 of the reality television singing competition show The X-Factor in 2011, the same season her brother Chris Rene, who also appeared on the show, placed in the competition.
With her brother Gabriel Rene, Gina Rene co-wrote and recorded the song "MeanGurl" from the Paramount film "Meangirls”, starring Lindsey Lohan.
One of her original songs "U Must Be”, co-written by Artstrong Clarion, was featured in the 2006 film “Step Up."
