Jack O'Neill is one of the founders of O'Neill Surf Shop. In 1952, with his brothers Bill O'Neill and Bob O'Neill, he opened his first surf shop. In 1996 he founded the non-profit educational organization O'Neill Sea Odyssey. Jack is widely credited as either the inventor of the modern wetsuit, or at least an early innovator in its invention, depending on what source one refers to.
