Kim's Kitchen was a take-out only Chinese food restaurant located on the corner of 14th Street and East Cliff Drive offering fast and inexpensive meals to locals and summer tourists. Popular dishes included BBQ Pork Chow Mein, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, Chicken Cashew and Beef with Broccoli. The restaurant was one of the few to use organic vegetables grown in the former owner's home garden. Organic fruits could often be purchased as well as imported Chinese keepsakes at the counter. The restaurant was leased to another Chinese family but after a few years the building/property was sold. Today, the location is home to a Taqueria.
