  • Re-work Front Page
    • Ideally, we'd have a big, beautiful image that's front-and-center.  It should be pretty wide -- like 1440x360 pixels.  Anyone have a good one?  The image that's on the front page now isn't big enough

Before first wave of publicizing

  • Get logo / fixed-up logo
  • Better front page image
  • Set up SSL
    • get a new IP address, update domain to point there
  • Make Facebook group (done) & invite lots of people
  • Come up with a sticker design & print up stickers
  • Make map loading / movement faster with the thousands of points it's got
  • Philip/Mike first hang out in Santa Cruz

First publicity wave

  • Compile list of community & student groups to reach out to
  • Come up with some short blurbs, printouts that explain what scruzwiki is, what we're aiming for and how they can help
    • Hand out in person or via email
  • Local media (press releases; write ups?)
    • Student newspapers
    • Community TV?
