Three streams merge in Big Basin Redwoods State Park to form Opal Creek. It then flows south to meet East Waddell Creek near Hihn-Hammond Road. East Waddell Creek joins West Waddell Creek to become Waddell Creek. Waddell Creek empties into the Pacific Ocean.
