The People's Bank building downtown is currently a mixed use complex with retail on the first floor and offices on the second. Entrances to the building are on Pacific Avenue and Locust Street.
The building was designed by William Weeks and was originally built in 1910 at a cost of $45,000 as a location for the People's Bank. In 1914 People's Bank became the Farmers and Merchants National Bank.
In the 1980s the building was known more commonly as the ID Building, named after Integrand Design, a store located in the main retail space on the first floor.
In 1990 the Museum of Art and History added this building to the list of Santa Cruz County Historical Trust Landmarks.
