Rosie McCann's is equally popular for the food and the atmosphere. The former consists of hearty favorites, traditional and new (read: burgers and shepherd's pie); the latter is everything you'd want from a pub, including darts, a generous selection of beer, and a second-story Pacific Avenue location that is usable by the public, which is somewhat rare downtown.
