The Santa Cruz AIDS Project works to provide services which help HIV positive clients, as well as to enact harm-prevention and educational programs for various communities and age groups in Santa Cruz county.
Client programs include:

Educational Services Include:

Community Health Outreach

People of Color Outreach Program- education focused on African American and Latino/a communities

HIV Resource and Drop-In Center-offers HIV testing and services, specifically targeted at youth and the homeless.

Tribe- Provides a safe meeting space for gay, bisexual, transgendered, queer and questioning men of all ages

Speaker's Bureau Program- sends volunteer speakers to give presentations to community groups

Project First Hand
Individuals interested in becoming clients should call the project and set up an appointment with a client services case manager. Meetings last about an hour, and you will need bring proof of residence and medical documentation of your HIV-positive status.
Community groups and educators interested inHIV education should call the SCAP and ask for the Community Education Coordinator (427-3900 ext. 208).
The Santa Cruz AIDS Project was previously located at 113 Cooper Street. The Santa Cruz AIDS Project also operated the Drop-In Center which was located on Front Street.
