The Santa Cruz Beach-Downtown Trolley shuttles between the beach area near the Municipal Wharf and Downtown Santa Cruz. It costs $.25 to ride in either direction. The trolley leaves the downtown every 30 minutes on the half hour and on the hour during weekdays, during weekends its every 20 minutes. The trolley leaves the wharf at a quarter of, and a quarter after, each hour.
It's important to know that the trolley run seasonally, the start and end may be different from year to year, so it's important to the check the website for future references.
The trolley can also be rented during off season and when its not used during on season. The price is $250 per hour and $0.83 per miles for fuel. Contact the wbesite for more info.
The vehicle runs on compressed natural gas.
