The Santa Cruz Float Center offered experiences inside of a 'sensory deprivation tank,' and they described the experience of being inside one of their flotation tanks as an environment, "free from gravity, time and boundaries. Imagine if you could Float effortlessly in the euphoric state that exists naturally when your senses are relaxed, and you reach the true core of your being." The tank was an enclosed structure that was 7' long by 4' wide and 4' tall. Inside it was 10 inches of water that is heated to body temperature and in the water was 800 lbs of epsom salt, which makes a person completely buoyant.
