Bought by Golden West Savings and Loan in 1971 and was fully converted by 1972. Golden West Savings and Loan became World Savings in 1975. The branch moved to 1551 Pacific Avenue location in 1977. In 2007 World Savings was bought by Wachovia. In 2009 Wells Fargo Bank bought Wachovia. The branch on Pacific Avenue was sold to Bank of the West because Wells Fargo Bank already had a branch downtown.
