In Feburary 1953, the first library in Scotts Valley was started at Camp Evers. It ended in 1985. In 1985 the second Scotts Valley library was started at King's Village Shopping Center. It ended in 2011. In 2011 the Kings Village Road location became the third Scotts Valley library.
