Local grocery, family owned and operated for the last 69 years. European-style with extensive meat selection and butchery, as well as one of the most extensive wine selections in Santa Cruz. Though it tends to run a bit more expensive than other chain groceries, people tend to shop here for the atmosphere and quality of food items. 30% of their produce is locally grown and/or organic. Overall good balance between organic items and conventional name brands.
