Turing Haus is a co-op in Santa Cruz.
It is an undergrad student and community member focused co-op. People like to hang out at night and play DnD, but enjoy being quiet during the day. We aren't spotless, but we don't hire cleaners and we work together to do chores. We all try to get along and avoid conflict. We have a meal plan to share food, and will get you anything that can be bought at Trader Joes or Costco. We have a washer and drier and a garden. We have one cute cat who doesn't like other animals.
It is named after the famous computer scientist, Alan Turing. Many current members come from co-ops across the country, and wanted to expand the co-op housing options in Santa Cruz. Members currently have interests in cooking, coding, brewing beer, good cheese, hiking and mushrooming, and hackathons.
