I have a passion for place and that place is Santa Cruz. I've lived in many cities (Portland/Tulsa/LA/DC and finally Santa Cruz). This is home for me. I've been creating web applications since the first browser was created and been hooked on the internet and all it invites ever since.
I had a significant emersion in civic geekery with a Knight News Challenge grant and I am actively building the tech community in Santa Cruz through my endeavors with Santa Cruz Geeks and TechRaising. I work downtown at productOps as an Architect and Community Evangelist.
