Wharf Road technically starts at the Capitola Wharf and continues uphill to Capitola Road and becomes a one-way street off of Capitola Road. From there it extends about 110 walking paces to become a two way street again. On some maps it is listed as Soquel Wharf Road.
The Capitola Wharf is a pier by nautical standards.
Bike-Friendliness From the pier to the one-way section you might as well walk your bike up the hill. It is safer to use the sidewalk. Where Capitola Road junctions Wharf Road it is one-way with no bike lanes, level and minimal traffic.
Public Transportation
No bus stops on Wharf Road. Route 55, 54, and 69N pass by or on Wharf Road.
