This was one of the three chewing gum production facilities in the United States.[[nbsp] The other two factories is still in operation.  This company was founded in 1892, and is based in Chicago, Illinois.

2011-09-25 11:11:25   We used to ride our bikes to the Wrigley Factory and get free gum back in the late 1970s! —

2012-03-20 20:28:29   Wrigley's was my first real job....I started in 1962. I started out in 'inspection' and ended up as a machine operator. The union tried to get into Wrigley's but they were voted out by the employees because Wrigley's treated their employees most fairly. We had a contract every year guaranteeing us a year's work provided by the company. It is sad to see they closed the plant. —
