There is a beautiful pond to fish in and also plenty of land to run in or even have a nice picnic. Take your family to Edmund's park and have a great time, it’s free and fun you can’t go wrong.

About:

Edmund's Park is one of South Boston’s finest attractions. There is plenty of open space for kids to play in, animals to run in, and also just a nice quiet place to go for a picnic. Edmund's Park has just about everything  you need, so friends and family take a trip down to South Boston, Virginia and enjoy the view. History:

The Park opened in 2004 with the completion of Phase I. The Serenity Gardens have been named the Cancer garden to acknowledge all cancer survivors. The garden is in the shape of a ribbon and many people go to take marriage pictures to honor family members who have passed away from cancer. This spot in Edmund’s park is one of the most important and has been effective since 2006 according to The Gazette-Virginian, Serenity Garden

Edmund's Park is located on 3164 Dan River Church Rd, South Boston, VA 24592. This park has an amazing view of a pond with beautiful land. This park is also open from 8 a.m. to sunset year round. Directions can also be found here.
