Argus is a pleasant lounge/bar south of Cesar Chavez Street. It rarely has giant flannel crowds lingering outside like The Knockout, and has a far less prominent sign than El Rio, so it can be easy to miss.
Argus makes amazing cocktails, one particularly divisive one being the "Jon Benet Ramsey" (vanilla Stoli, ginger ale and a crushed cherry).
