Country Station was an interesting little (emphasis on the "little!") sushi restaurant in the Mission. A little hard to find, the restaurant was staffed by waitresses who greeted customers enthusiastically once they came through the curtain. The menu contained some unlikely ingredients, such as jalapeño, and the atmosphere was unlike that of other sushi restaurants, from the cut-and-paste decorations on the walls to the mariachi singer who often paid a visit (and you would have been likely to be asked to play percussion!)
The place closed down sometime around September 2007.
