The Fillmore Center is a large apartment complex located at 1475 Fillmore Street in the Western Addition neighborhood of San Francisco.
Fillmore Center construction began in 1986, at the time the building was touted in the Los Angeles Times newspaper as the "largest single residential project" in the city. There are 1114 units in the 19-story tall building; and apartments are either studios, one, two and three-bedrooms. Prudential Real Estate Investors purchased the property in 2004 and they completed the apartment building process.
The building is home to the Fillmore Center Plaza which has a large fountain, and is the site of the weekly Fillmore Farmer's Market, as well as other community events.
