Out of the Closet is a thrift store run by non-profit AIDS Healthcare Foundation. They offer free HIV testing and their income helps fund medical services provided by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
They have two locations in SF and others in the Bay Area. They're based in LA and have a few stores down there too.
In November of 2014 their Lower Haight / Duboce Triangle location looked closed, with its windows boarded up.
