Art Schools
- Academy of Art University is everywhere
- California College of Arts usually just CCA. formerly California College of Arts and Crafts (CCAC) but the crafts bit was dropped because of the laynard making connotations. Many people still refer to it as CCAC
- San Francisco Art Institute or SFAI sometimes. It is accredited, but often confused with the "Art Institute of San Francisco," which is not. A "People's Front of Judea" situation.
We've also got an art high school, which is Lick Wilmerding High School.
Sharon Art Studio and San Francisco Center for the Book offer workshops for people interested in art with varying skill levels.
